ICH Nutritional Anaemias in India Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management 1st/2024

Anaemia is the most common hematological disorder and a burning public health issue in India. ISHBT has devised this Nutritional Anemias in India Guidelines for Diagnosis and Management which is going to aid the medical practitioners and stake holders, and most importantly it will help in better patient care management. With proper following of guidelines in various medical niche of healthcare givers, one day India will become a nation free from anemia. “Guidelines on Nutritional Anaemia in India” has been collaboratively developed by the Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion, the Indian College of Haematology, along with members from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and other professional organisations such as the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of India (FOGSI) and the Association of Physicians of India (API).

This comprehensive guideline gives a fair idea on how anaemia is a significant global as well as Indian public health issue.
