The purpose of the manual is to provide guidelines to the students, as well as to the teachers to achieve defined outcomes in this subject through learning and assessment. All the competencies mentioned in the index for the training of 2nd MBBS and Final MBBS (Part 1) students are documented in this manual. This Practical Manual is as per the new competency Based Graduate Medical Education (CBME) Covers almost all the medico-legal cases/issues which the student may encounter during his/her professional career. As per the recent CBME guidelines of the MCI this manual also includes:
