Robotic Surgery in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery has been structured so robotic head and neck procedures can be described and shown in a clear and concise manner with the use of photographs, diagrams and video; our hope is that others will take this information and further the field. This book has been divided into four sections where the robot is currently used. A section entitled “Robotic Procedures in Evolution” which describes robotic procedures that are currently in the process of study is included with the real possibility that they may one day become commonplace.

Robotic Surgery in Otolarnygology-Head and Neck Surgery is a practical guidebook for practicing robotic surgeons as well as those surgeons in training, with the use of multiple diagrams, this book summarizes in a clear concise manner the steps in performing each type of robotic operation within the head and neck with an emphasis on transoral robotic surgery (TORS) as well as robotic thyroid surgery.

This book has been divided into four sections which have been written by experts in their respective fields including a section for operations currently in the process of development.
