Textbook of Practical Physiology for MBBS 2nd/2018

The present edition of the book Textbook of Practical Physiology for MBBS is in line with the new curriculum policy of the Medical Council of India (MCI) for first MBBS students. The entire text has been thoroughly revised and updated. The aim of this textbook is to emphasise the need for quantitative improvement in human physiology experiments with its clinical correlates. The teaching of practical physiology has been redesigned to bring it in line with modern technological devices. More diagrams, pictures and graphs/records depicting analysis and reasoning have been included in the book. A new unit ‘Approach to Practical Examination’ has been added with some examples, which will help the students during their university exams.

1.The whole text has been thoroughly revised and presented.
2. All the experiments in each unit are classified into two groups:
(i) as student exercises; which a student should be able to perform independently and
(ii) to demonstrate/observe under close staff supervision.
3. More diagrams, picures and graphs/records depicting analysis and reasoning have been added.
4. A new unit-Approach to practial examination has been furnished with some example. This will be of great 'help' to the students during their university examination subsequently.
5. The Textbook contains about 600 diagrams and pictures. This will help the students in easy reproducibility and understanding of the subject better.
